Independent roofing contractor guides

Find the best roofing contractors where you live

Roofing Roster publishes location-based guides that score roofing contractors on real customer reviews, using one published rubric, so you can hire with confidence.

Our guides

Each guide is an independent directory for one area, built from public business data and recent review activity. More states, cities, and regions are on the way.

Why homeowners trust our guides

We are not a trade association and we do not do roofing work. We organize public information into something you can compare at a glance.

Scored, never sold

Every ranking comes from one published rubric applied the same way to every contractor. Nobody pays to move up.

Patterns, not one star

We read what recent reviews describe, praise and complaints alike, so a repeat problem shows up before you sign.

Refreshed monthly

Data updates on a monthly cycle and each listing shows a last-verified date, so rankings stay current rather than stale.

Sources you can check

We summarize review sentiment instead of copying review text, and every listing links to Google so you can read the source.

How we rank roofing contractors

Every contractor on every guide gets a composite score from 0 to 100, built from five measured signals. Heaviest first:

  • 28%
    Sentiment

What recent reviews actually say, praise and complaints alike, not just the star count.

  • 26%
    Rating

The business's aggregate Google star rating.

  • 20%
    Volume

How many reviews a business has, log-scaled so a handful of reviews cannot compete with a real track record.

  • 16%
    Completeness

Whether phone, website, hours, and address are listed and usable.

  • 10%
    Recency

How recently customers have left reviews, because crews and owners change.

Own a roofing business?

If you operate in an area we cover, you may already be listed. Ask to be added, report a correction, or ask about sponsored placement. Sponsorship never changes a score.
